Scientific consensus, increasing public awareness, and initiation of political actions on climate change have refocused interest towards climate change impacts, adaptation, and mitigation. Although widespread effects may not be tangible today, gradual changes in natural hazards will be seen in future environmental conditions.
Climate change adaptation is not necessarily contingent on developing entirely new regulatory, budgetary, and delivery frameworks for implementation. We can help leverage existing systems and available resources to provide the most robust, forward-looking, and cost-effective solutions.
Our dedicated climate change staff includes full-time scientists and engineers who have established an extensive knowledge database, allowing us to stay current and provide state-of-the-art solutions to our clients. We have also developed a study-decision framework to tailor studies to the available budget and data.
And we want to hear from you. So that we may gain an even better understanding of your areas of concern as it relates to climate change, please take a moment to respond to this survey. Your response will be anonymous, and you will not be contacted regarding your response.
Our climate change services include:
- Analyzing and assessing the effects of climate change on built, human, and environmental systems
- Creating long-term goals to reduce climate change vulnerability
- Developing emergency mitigation and disaster response strategies
- Natural hazards and mitigation planning which directly translate into climate change hazard evaluation and adaptation
- GIS technology and tool development, allowing us to leverage existing data and perform geospatial analysis and modeling
