Dewberry researched an inactive landfill's site and chemical history in order to ascertain the current risk associated with the construction of a highway ramp on top of it. The landfill, which operated in the 1960s and 1970s, was not properly capped and closed and had been documented as having received industrial waste, including shock-sensitive material, during its period of operation. |
