DARRT2

What is DARRT?
Disaster Assistance Response and Recovery Technology (DARRT) is a technology solution for decision makers and planners to better prepare and respond before, during, and after a disaster event.  DARRT utilizes Geographic Information System (GIS) technology to provide analysis and visualization tools for disaster response with an easy-to-use interface.  DARRT can be customized to your GIS data and additional features can be added.  With DARRT, you will also have access to Dewberry’s extensive knowledge of emergency management, homeland security, and GIS.

What does DARRT do?
DARRT is a customized application based on GIS technology to:

DARRT can be integrated with a hand-held computer and Global Positioning Systems (GPS) to input damage information in the field and determine the locations of events.  Other event modeling software packages can be integrated with DARRT including Hurrevac (hurricane wind forecasting model) and Aloha (chemical plume modeling).

How does DARRT work?
DARRT can be created using different ESRI-based software to suit the user’s needs:

DARRT can also be developed to be compatible with existing Emergency Management software to provide an integrated, total emergency management software suite.

DARRT is customized for your system, so it can use either your GIS data or nationwide datasets for analysis.
