Trenton, NJ
Dewberry's design of a new intermodal transportation center transformed the previous 30-year-old commuter rail station. Final design included expansion of the building's footprint and addition of a second floor/mezzanine level. Exterior work included improved traffic and vehicular circulation, a kiss-and-ride drop-off, site drainage and utilities, parking lot design, and landscaping. Dewberry also provided structural designs for a police substation and additional office and retail space. Temporary shielding bridges and a pedestrian access bridge minimized impact to commuters and expedited construction. |
